In the Matter of the Appointment
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDER APPOINTING
CHARTER COMMISSION COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, the appointed term of five Mounds View Charter Commission members
expired on October 31, 2020;
WHEREAS, notice of the vacancies created by the expired terms was published,
applications were to be submitted by October 16, 2020, and eight applications were timely
received;
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council submitted to the Chief Judge of the Second
Judicial District, for consideration, Resolution No. 9333 recommending five of the applicants;
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 410.05 requires the Chief Judge of the District to appoint
and fill vacancies for a term expiring October 31, 2024;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following individuals are appointed as members of
the Mounds View Charter Commission for a term to expire on October 31, 2024:
Brian R. Amundsen, 3048 Woodale Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112;
Dennis R. Erickson, 2175 Terrace Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112;
Jerry D. Peterson, 8125 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112;
Gary C. Quick, 8330 Knollwood Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112; and
Russell A. Warren, 8044 Greenwood Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER ORDERED THAT:
The Court Administrator of the Second Judicial District shall immediately by mail notify
the members of the Mounds View Charter Commission notice of these appointments.
Additionally, the Court Administrator shall notify by mail the appointees of this Order and of their
individual responsibility to file the Oath within 30 days of this Order. Failure to file the Oath will
be deemed to be a decline of the appointment. Such appointment is to be fully effective upon the
filing of the appropriate Oath with the Court Administrator of the Second Judicial District Court
for Ramsey County, Minnesota.
