Senate Committee never met (he is the lead), House met numerous times and adopted a plan but it is going nowhere. Attended Pension Commission Meeting, main topic was public safety PTSD Claims. LMC has made this one of their top five priorities. Commission also spent considerable time on assumption rates and inflation, both critical components of pensions and pension funding. Updated loan agreement with MPCA on 0% interest money, reduced amount to a Million, extended for another year, updated agreement. Also clarified funds can be used by multi -family (apartments and mobile home parks). Amendment will be coming forward to Council at their meeting on the 14t" MVPD: Has several members supporting Special Olympics via the annual polar plunge. PW: Well the saga continues with Water Treatment Plant #2. Hatches were opened this week revealing 4" of media (that is a lot) has gone down the drain so to speak. Consensus by all to run plant another 30 days and measure again. Air valve issue is not a factor as it has been disabled since we went back on line. Back to the drains as the most likely culprit.
