RESOLUTION 9718 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN 2023 F150 SERVICE PICKUP TRUCK <br />WHEREAS, the City has pickup trucks that are utilized for the Public Works <br />Department to perform necessary maintenance; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council understands the need for Public Works to properly <br />operate various tasks such as water main breaks, storm debris pick up and inspections <br />in a timely manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Staff has been utilizing a 2006 Ford Ranger, for the <br />Community Center Facility Maintenance; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff received a quote from Midway Ford of Roseville <br />MN for an F150 super cab with options at cost of $49,435.00; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff also recommends the Purchase of a back rack, <br />warning lighting and graphics for a cost of $500.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the replacement of this vehicle is in the 2023 Budget to be taken from <br />the Water Department Budget fund 700-4823-7030. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby accepts the quote of $49,435.00 submitted by Midway Ford of <br />Roseville MN not including sales tax or license fees. <br />2.
