Approval of minutes from the January 27, 2005 meeting. 4. Unfinished Business: Greenfield Park Play Equipment - It is anticipated that the playground equipment will be delivered and installed in May of 2005. The contractor, Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground, has submitted a Certificate of Compliance for all of the equipment purchased. Groveland Park Building Replacement. – TKDA has completed a draft site plan. This will be submitted to the Parks and Recreation for review and comment. Facility Guide Update – At the December 16, 2004 meeting, the Parks and Recreation Commissioners suggested that the printing of the Facility Guide could be delayed until there is more information pertaining to the Groveland Building – after more is known about the status of the building / after it is officially approved by the City Council. The cost for printing the guide will be determined when the final version of guide is submitted for printing. The total cost to produce and print the guide along with the frequency of reproduction will need to be discussed by the Commissioners at a future date. YMCA Committee Update –adding two new security cameras at the Community Center was approved by the City Council on February 14, 2005. Then entrance to the Banquette center will be remodeled. 2004 Park Needs Analysis – This was reviewed and discussed at the January 27, 2005 Parks and recreation Meeting. The final version will be submitted to the Commissioners for their review and approval. City Wide Survey This was discussed by the City Council at the Work Session on February 7, 2005. The City Council made several revisions to the DRAFT fifty-question (50) Community Survey. It is anticipated that the draft will be finalized and approved by the City Council on February 28, 2005. LaCrosse Field / Oakwood Park Renovation Project 5. New Business: Park Lighting Project Park shelter / building reservation fee structure Park Dedication Fund - Financial Review County Road 10 Corridor Improvement Program - Design Theme Subcommittee Skate Park - Do the Commissioners want to proceed with this project in 2006, table it for a later date, or remove it from consideration? Combination Full Sized Rink at Hillview Pavement: Asphalt $13,000, Ag-Lime $13,000, Concrete $25,000 Boards, Pipe, and Fencing: $28,400 Mounds View Matters Articles (due March 28th for May /June edition) February 24th – Identify Articles: Greenfield Playground, Groveland Building, Fishing pier… March 24th - Review Articles Ardan Park Development Any Other Items? 6.
