Application Deadlines

All other facility use requests must be received no less than two weeks prior to the date of the
requested use. The Director of the Community Center or appointee must approve any
expectations to the stated deadlines.
Approval of Application (200 or more people)
Facility use permits are drafted by the Community Center. when a facility use application is
approved, the applicant will receive a facilities permit and a copy of the rules and regulations for
using Community Center facilities.

Classifications for Fee Purposes
Class I
• YMCA programs and/or sponsored events
• City of Mounds View department
• Local, state, and national election polls and caucuses
• District 621 school organizations (one event per month)
• Non-profit Mounds View community groups (Scouts, 4-14, Lions Club, etc
• Employees (YMCA/City)
Class II
• Mounds View residents
• Non -municipal governmental groups serving Mounds View residents
• Community athletic associations (IBA, Swim Club, etc.)
• School organizations outside of District 621 (one per month)
• Religious organizations with a Mounds View address
• Non-profit organizations not locally -based
Class III
• For-profit businesses residing in Mounds View
• For profit organizations and/or private groups which provide educational, civic,
recreational or charitable activities and do not charge admission fees
• Religious organizations without a Mounds View address
• Colleges and Universities
• Group activities that benefit mostly non-residents of Mounds View
Class IV
• Non-resident individuals, private agencies, businesses and/or vendors that use City of
Mounds View facilities for commercial purposes or profit.
