RESOLUTION NO.9778 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE -DAY CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISES <br />PERMIT FOR THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE FOUNDATION TO CONDUCT EXCLUDED <br />BINGO AT SILVER VIEW PARK ON AUGUST 19, 2023 <br />AS PART OF THE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation has requested that the City <br />Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling, specifically Excluded Bingo, for one <br />day on August 19, 2023, as part of the Festival in the Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />approves or deny requests to conduct charitable gambling; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation complies with Mounds View <br />Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling regulations. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist with the Festival <br />in the Park of Mounds View by approving this request. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby approves the Mounds View Police Foundation's request to conduct Excluded <br />Bingo at the Mounds View Festival in the Park on August 19, 2023, at Silver View Park, <br />2700 County Road I. <br />Adopted this 24t" day of July, 2023. <br />GaryeWehldause, Acting Mayor <br />ATTEST; Al <br />Nyle ikm nd, City Administrator <br />(SEALI <br />
