HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlanning Commission Resolution 286-90 (Tabled)MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 286-90 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION (APPROVING/DENYING) CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST BY STEVEN MELBY FOR A SECOND GARAGE AT 8419 SPRING LAKE ROAD, PLANNING CASE NO. 290-90 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request by Mr. Steven Melby for a conditional use permit to allow a second garage on the property located at 8419 Spring Lake Road; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission understands that the second garage is currently existing on the lot; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View Zoning Code allows a second accessory building by conditional use permit provided that the total square footage of all accessory buildings does not exceed 1,264 square feet; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the conditions allowing second accessory buildings on lots; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the garage meets the minimum setback requirements and the maximum square footage allowed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission recommends to the City Council (approval/denial) of the requested conditional use permit contingent upon the following: a. That the conditional use permit is recorded with Ramsey County. b. That the applicant understands that no other accessory building will be allowed on this property. RESOLUTION NO. 286-90 PAGE TWO BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
