1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Acting President Cermak called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Acting President Cermak, Commissioner Gunn, Commissioner
Lindstrom, Commissioner Meehlhause, and Executive Director Zikmund.
NOT PRESENT: None.
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Approve the January 8, 2024, Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
4. CONSENT AGENDA
A. November 27, 2023, EDA Minutes.
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Lindstrom. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
5. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
None.
6. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
7. EDA BUSINESS
A. Resolution 24-EDA-370, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View
Mounds View EDA January 8, 2024

Economic Development Authority (EDA).
Executive Director Zikmund reported the EDA bylaws require the EDA to elect and appoint
officers at the first meeting of each year.
Commissioner Lindstrom stated he supported the Acting Mayor serving as the EDA President. He
explained this would mean Commissioner Meehlhause would serve as EDA President. The EDA
supported this recommendation.
Commissioner Meehlhause recommended Commissioner Lindstrom serve as the Vice President
for the EDA. The EDA supported this recommendation.
Commissioner Cermak agreed to serve as the Treasurer.
Commissioner Gunn agreed to serve as the Secretary.
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Lindstrom. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 24-EDA-
370, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority
(EDA) as discussed.
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.

9. NEXT EDA MEETING: Monday, January 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
10. ADJOURNMENT
Acting President Cermak adjourned the meeting at 6:06 p.m.
