CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PROPOSAL FROM WSB FOR A PARK SYSTEM MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View has many responsibilities to include
efficiently operating and managing the entire Park system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council discussed implementing a Park System Master
Plan (PSMP) at the January 29, 2024 Work Session in which WSB attended; and
WHEREAS, Council directed Staff to obtain a cost proposal from WSB for a
scope of services; and
WHEREAS, WSB has provided a Scope of Services proposal for a cost of
$106,500.00; and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends the City Council approve the attached resolution
approving the Proposal from WSB to Create a Park System Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Approves the proposal from WSB for the Park System Master Plan of a cost of
$106,500.00 as outlined in the proposal to be funded from the 2024 Special
Project Fund.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by
this resolution.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby
authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions
necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
