Mounds View Charter Commission

Whereas, the Mounds View Charter Commission has reviewed and adopted the following
language for a Mission Statement at its April 11, 2002 meeting.
Therefore, the Mounds View Charter Commission does hereby adopt as its Mission Statement
the following language.
Mission Statement
The Mounds View Home Rule Charter establishes the basic organization, functions, and
operational procedures of our city government. The purpose of the Charter Commission is to
serve as custodians of the Mounds View City Charter in accordance with state laws to ensure
that the Charter is an effective and workable document that will benefit our residents in
overseeing city operations and expenditures.
