STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PROMOTION OF BEN GEISBAUER TO THE POSITION OF
PUBLIC WORKS PARKS LEAD WORKER
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the posting of the Public Works Parks Lead Worker
position during the March 11, 2024 Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, staff posted the internal job for the promotional opportunity and received three
(3) applications and interviewed all candidates;
WHEREAS, Ben Geisbauer was selected for the promotion to Public Works Parks Lead
Worker and successfully completed a hiring assessment; and
WHEREAS, staff and the HR Committee support the selection of Mr. Geisbauer to the
position of Parks Lead Worker, with a start date of April 22, 2024, at Grade 6, Step 6, reflecting a
starting wage of $38.39, and the ability to advance to Step 7 at one-year, after successfully
completing a one-year probationary period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby appoint Ben Geisbauer to the following:
• Non -Exempt, Public Works Bargaining Unit, Parks Lead Worker position, effective April
22, 2024
• Starting wage of Grade 6, Step 6, $38.39/hour
• Ability to advance to Grade 6, Step 7 on the one-year anniversary, after successfully
completing a one-year probationary period. Following step increases will occur annually
each April 22"d, with successful performance reviews through Step 9 (dependent upon
labor agreement changes) _
