CHARTER COMMISSION MEETING
Bylaws
The Mounds View Charter Commission acting under its Bylaws, hereby makes
the amendments to the following sections of its Bylaws by repealing Article
IV, Section 2 in its entirely and replacing it with the following:
ARTICLE IV - AMENDMENTS AND REVISIONS
Section 2, Charter Am m menment Procedures,
The Charter may be amended as provided in Minnesota Statute 410.12, as
amended. A summary of the four methods can be found on the city website
under Charter Commission documents. For commission and council proposed
amendments the commission shall transmit all proposed amendments by
printed or electronic delivery to the city clerk in a timely manner, or as
required by statute, after commission approval. For citizen proposed charter
amendments purposes, the city clerk is the authorized official to accept
petitions and amendment summaries on behalf of the charter commission.
