RESOLUTION 9930 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE .OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING SHALLOW MONITORING WELLS, UPDATING THE DRAFT <br />PROSPECTUS AND MEETING WITH VARIOUS AGENCIES FOR ARDAN PARK <br />WETLAND BANKING PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the proposal from Stantec Engineering <br />Services to continue to move forward with the Ardan Park Wetland Banking Concept; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has provided a Cost Proposal of $11,400.00 for the next <br />steps as outlined at the March 6, 2024 Work Session; and <br />WHEREAS, the next steps will include the following: <br />1. Meet with the various agencies to clarify and respond to the comments. <br />2. Installing shallow monitoring wells to better determine the hydrology of the <br />current wetland and adjacent properties. <br />3. Updating the Draft Prospectus narrative to include how the agency comments <br />were addressed. <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends the City Council approve the attached resolution <br />approving the proposal from Stantec Engineering Services at the cost of $11,400.00 to <br />be funded from the Storm Water Fund account 745-4415-750. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the final proposal from Stantec Engineering Services to Meet with <br />Various Agencies, Installing Shallow Monitoring Wells and Updating the Draft <br />Prospectus for the Ardan Park Wetland Banking Project at cost of $11,400.00. <br />2. Funded from the Storm Water Department 2024 adopted budget account 745- <br />4415-7050 with a budget of $250,000.00 for stormwater projects. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions <br />necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />
