Call to order The meeting was called to order by Chairman
Wayne Burmeister at 6 : 45 p .m.
Roll Call Commissioners Present: Weflin, Wermager, Bowman,
Silvis , Burmeister and Letendre
Staff Present: Director Anderson and Program
Supervisor Saarion
Approval of Minutes Frank Silvis moved approval of the minutes ,
Cindy Wermager seconded the motion.
Motion carried. 6 ayes

Park Shelter Building Two of the purchased shelters have arrived at
Update both the Hillview and Woodcrest sites . A temporary
shelter will be used a Greenfield . The Groveland
shelter will arrive soon. The permanent shelter
Swill be used for the first time this winter at
Lambert Park. Groveland Park area residents are
interested in staffing the rink shelter building
during the skating season -- with the understanding
that the money which is saved can be spent for
Groveland Park improvements .
City Code Review The park dedication code is being reviewed by the
City Council. Commissioners reviewed the revised
proposal which was supported by the Planning Commission.
Frank Silvis moved to approve the proposal as written
by the Planning Commission. Cindy Wermager seconded
the motion. Motion passed. 6 ayes

Recreation Programs Program Supervisor Saarion reviewed the fall pro—
grams and gave a short preview of winter programs .
Staff Report Director Anderson gave summaries of N.R.P .A. Congress
special sessions on "adopt a park" and Japanese
management.
Adjournment Motion was made by Wayne Weflin to adjourn the
meeting . Motion was seconded by Donna Bowman.
Motion passed. 6 ayes
