CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL MOUNDS VIEW BOULEVARD CORRIDOR STUDY
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View received a Ramsey County Critical Corridors Pre -
Development Planning grant to update the previous Highway 10 Corridor Study for the City of Mounds
View; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View contracted with HKGi to facilitate the study process and
to develop recommendations for the study area; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View started the study process in January 2024 and completed
the study in June 2024; and,
WHEREAS, the study process included a community open house and online community
engagement platform to collect public input; and,
WHEREAS, recommendations from the study include goals and identify projects or initiatives
the City of Mounds View could undertake to improve the corridor within the categories of aesthetic
improvements, connectivity improvements, and economic development improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the study's recommendations are intended to be used as a guiding document to
inform future investments or reinvestment/redevelopment along the Mounds View Boulevard Corridor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINRESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
acknowledges the study's findings and recommendations and does hereby approve the study as a guiding
document.
