AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR ALEXIS BOSTROM WORKING
IN HIGHER CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, Alexis Bostrom has agreed to work overtime during the Police
Records/Evidence Technicians eight (8) week absence, in order to cover the higher classification
job's priority responsibilities, while maintaining her own job duties as the Police Administrative
Assistant; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bostrom has taken on the additional job responsibilities effective July 1,
2024; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bostrom is willing to work extended hours to cover both positions to keep
the department fully functioning until the return of the Police Records/Evidence Technician.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council approves:
1. Authorizing additional compensation for Alexis Bostrom working in a higher job
classification until the return of the Police Records/Evidence Technician, anticipated
to be an eight -week leave.
2. Ms. Bostrom's wage will increase to Grade 5, Step 4 of the Police Records/Evidence
Technician Pay Plan.
3. Ms. Bostrom's wage will return to Grade 4, Step 6 of the Police Administrative
Assistant Pay Plan after the return of the Police Records/Evidence Technician.
