Dear Grant Reviewer:
The Mounds View Lions Club would like to express our full support for the City of
Mounds View in their grant application to implement a trail system along County Road
10.
City Staff and the City Council for Mounds View have been working towards a goal of
building a trail system along County Road 10, which runs diagonally through the center
of our community. This highway is one of the major routes for traffic going between St.
Paul and the northern suburbs that effectively addresses pedestrian and non-motorized
vehicle needs.
Building a better, SAFER and more attractive way for vehicles and pedestrians to share
this roadway would benefit our community along with the surrounding communities.
