1. Roll Call
2. Approval of minutes from the May 25, 2006 meeting.
3. Public Input - Citizens are encouraged to speak to the Park and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners on issues of concern.
4. YMCA Update
At the May 25, 2006 meeting, the Commissioners requested a copy of room rental policies and fee structure. The YMCA has submitted this for review and discussion.
5. Unfinished Business:
Tobacco Free Parks – This was discussed by the City Council at the June 5th Work Session. The City Council stated that they would review the draft policy and provide comments prior to
being re-submitted on June 26th. As of June 19th, Staff has received comments from one council member. These comments pertained to having two exception areas: designated areas at the
Community Center, and in vehicles in designated parking areas or adjacent to public streets.
Soccer Field Review–In addition to Oakwood Park, Staff will review current parks and city owned property for the possibility of creating soccer fields.
Facility Guide Update – On Hold; waiting for decisions on Mounds View Community Center
6. New Business:
Review of Commissioner Application – One application was received from Gerald Arel
Park Improvement Plan – Finalize plan
County Road 10 Corridor Improvement Program – Review draft feasibility report of trailway project on the south side from Silver Lake Road to Long Lake Road (if available)

7. Commissioner/Staff Reports:
Silver Lake Road Sidewalk Project – the City is scheduled to open bids for this project on July 6, 2006 and award a construction contract on July 10, 2006. It is anticipated construction
would begin in late July and be completed in October of this year.

Groveland Park Building Replacement – Update
Silver View Park Soccer Field Rehabilitation Update
Mounds View Community Center Commission Update – a presentation was given at the June 5th Work Session.
Park Vandalism / Graffiti Update (working with Police)
