Dear Mr. Lee:
Transmitted to you with this letter are ten (10) sets of the draft construction plans for the
proposed County Road 10 Trail Segments 9 & 10 project. In addition, proposed details are
attached for the drinking fountain and service connection at the westerly entrance to the Silver
View Plaza Retail center.
The proposed drinking fountain location has access to an existing 12" watermain located in the
County Road 10 corridor. Due to the lack of storm sewer in the area, water from the fountain is
proposed to discharge into a rock chamber directly below the fountain. Water will then dissipate
into the adjacent soils. The estimated cost for this work is approximately $6,000. This would
include the installation of the fountain, required water service, winter maintenance access, and
discharge chamber. We would request the City's recommendation as to whether to incorporate
the drinking fountain with this project.
