Public Input - Citizens are encouraged to speak to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners on issues of concern. 4. YMCA Update 5. Unfinished Business: Greenfield Park– We should discuss the information that our Surface Water personal has received from the Water Shed District. There has been some changes in staffing that could have an effect on the Greenfield plans. I will send some of this out along with the agenda and minutes from last month. Staff has contacted some manufactures and is waiting for pricing and specs. Playground components and soccer goals have been tentatively ordered through Minnesota Playground pending Councils direction. CleanUp Day was a success. Staff trucked a lot of refuse and debris from the park area. The Volunteers did a good job of policing the grounds. Kudos are in order and we would like to encourage Park Users to continue picking up unsightly litter and refuse in all the Parks throughout the City. Annual Meeting with City Council – This meeting took place at the work session on April 7, 2008. The Commissioners discussed various issues and plans with City Council. This has been discussed and unless someone has something to add we can disregard this. 6. The Commission would like this completed before 50th Anniversary celebration at MV Festival in the Park. Other New Business? 3.
