Re: Mounds View Charter Commission Appointments
On behalf of the Mounds View City Council and in accordance with Minnesota Statute 410.05 (subd. 3)
we respectfully request your consideration of appointing Amber Urlacher and Karen Mills to the Mounds
View Charter Commission.
The Council has been very purposeful in our advocacy to residents with respect to filling vacancies on all
of our commission with gender and race diversity. Currently we have a single female on the Charter
Commission (Rebecca Scholl's).
Ms. Urlacher and Ms. Mills are next generation residents with impressive skills and abilities and would
bring new perspectives and viewpoints to the Charter Commission.
The council has no further advice with respect to the remaining applicants.
