STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING EARLY WAGE INCREASE FOR SERGEANT SYDNEY DISON
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding was approved on September 9,
2024 for the LELS 204 (retroactive to September 1, 2024), which increased the Patrol
Officers top wages by $3.00 per hour. The 100% top patrol rate is now $47.60; and,
WHEREAS, recently promoted Sergeant Sydney Dison, who currently earns
$47.40, is below the 100% top patrol rate and not scheduled for her next wage increase
until October 22, 2024; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting to increase Sergeant Dison's wage from Step 2 to
Step 3 retroactive to September 1, 2024; and

Ste 1 — 80%
Ste 2 — 85%
Ste 3 — 90%
Ste 4 — 95%
Step-5 —100%

WHEREAS, Sergeant Dison would remain on schedule to receive her Step 4
increase on October 22, 2025, and Step 5 October 22, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the HR Committee supports the recommendation to approve the early
wage increase for Sergeant Sydney Dison retroactive to September 1, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby approve Resolution 9976
Approving the Early Wage Increase for Sergeant Sydney Dison.
Adopted this 23rd day of September, 2024.
