In the Matter of the Appointment
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDER APPOINTING
CHARTER COMMISSION COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, there is a vacancy on the Mounds View Charter Commission to replace
Aaron Pratt. Notice of the vacancy was published and one application was received; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 410.05, subd. 1-3, requires the Chief Judge to fill a
vacancy. The vacancy term expires October 31, 2026.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED the following individual is appointed as a member of the
Mounds View Charter Commission for a partial term to expire October 31, 2026:
Karen S. Mills, 2280 Knoll Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER ORDERED THAT:
1. The Court Administrator of the Second Judicial District shall immediately notify the
members of the Mounds View Charter Commission notice of this appointment.
2. The Court Administrator shall notify the appointee of this Order and her individual
responsibility to file the Acceptance form within 30 days of this Order.
3. Failure to file the Acceptance will be deemed to be a decline of the appointment.
4. Such appointment is to be fully effective upon the filing of the appropriate Acceptance
form with the Court Administrator of the Second Judicial District of Ramsey County,
Minnesota.
