CHARTER COMMISSION MEETING
Re: Appreciation to Dennis Erickson for Service to the City
WHEREAS, Dennis Erickson was a member of the Charter Commission of Mounds
View from November 2016 to October 2024, and contributed his time and knowledge
to the Commission to maintain and improve the charter for the betterment of the
community, and
WHEREAS, Dennis Erickson made extraordinary efforts to attend all commission
meetings when ill or unable to participate during the COVID outbreak of 2020,
showing his dedication to the responsibility of appointed service to the city, and
WHEREAS, it is the Charter Commission's desire to express its appreciation,
recognize, and acknowledge Dennis Erickson's contributions and dedicated service,
and
WHEREAS at its November 19, 2024, meeting the Charter Commission moved,
seconded and passed this resolution to express its appreciation and commend Dennis
Erickson for his contributions and service over the past eight years.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Commission Chair and the entire Commission does so
express its appreciation to Dennis Erickson, and recommend Dennis Erickson for city
council recognition of extraordinary community service in a special and unique way.
