1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
President Meehlhause called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: President Meehlhause, Commissioner Cermak, Commissioner Clark,
Commissioner Gunn, Vice President Lindstrom, and Executive Director Zikmund.
NOT PRESENT: None.
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Approve the August 26, 2024, Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
4. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approval of Minutes: April 22, 2024.
MOTION/SECOND: Lindstrom/Cermak. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
5. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
None.
6. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
7. EDA BUSINESS
A. EDA Resolution 24-EDA-374, Approving the Preliminary EDA Property Tax
Mounds View EDA August 26, 2024
Regular Meeting Page 2
Levy Request for Fiscal Year 2025.
Finance Director Bauman requested the EDA approve the preliminary EDA property tax levy
request for fiscal year 2025. She explained the City was required to submit a preliminary levy to
the County by September 30, 2024. She indicated the EDA levy for 2025 would be an amount not
to exceed $160,000. She reported this amount could be reduced between September and
December, but could not be increased.
MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 24-EDA-374,
Approving the Preliminary EDA Property Tax Levy Request for Fiscal Year 2025.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.

9. NEXT EDA MEETING: Monday, September 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

President Meehlhause adjourned the meeting at 6:35 p.m.
