CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ADOPTING THE 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted numerous meetings and has made available the proposed
2025 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council provided the public an opportunity to speak at the Truth in Taxation meeting
on December 2, 2024 and at the several budget meetings to take comment on the proposed 2025 tax
levy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has proposed a final overall levy increase (including both the City levy and
EDA levy) of 8.53%.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the following
property tax levy for 2025 is hereby approved:
FUND
General Fund base levy
Fire debt service levy (Gen'I Fund)
Police MV Ref levy 2017 (Gen'I Fund)
Police MV Ref levy 2004 (Gen'I Fund)
Community Center Fund
Vehicle & Equipment Fund
Special Projects Fund
Street Improvement capital levy
2017A GO Bonds levy
TOTAL PROPERTY TAX LEVY

and the City Administrator is hereby directed to notify Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota of said
2025 property tax levy.
Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 9th day of December 2024.
