6. PUBLIC COMMENT
Citizens may speak to issues relating to economic development and not on the
agenda. Before speaking, please give your full name and address for the
minutes. Also, please limit your comments to three minutes. As a reminder,
public comment is for addressing the Economic Development Authority only.
Comments or concerns regarding staff must be submitted in writing to the
Mayor or City Administrator. Failure to respect these guidelines will result in the
President asking you to cease commenting and asking you to return to your
seat. That said, is there anyone here for public comment?

7. EDA BUSINESS 8

A. EDA Resolution 25-EDA-376, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds 10
View Economic Development Authority (EDA). 11

Executive Director Zikmund requested the EDA elect and appoint officers to the EDA for 2025, 13
the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. 14

President Meehlhause reviewed the appointments from 2024, noting he served as President, 16
Commissioner Lindstrom served as Vice President, Commissioner Cermak served as the 17
Treasurer, and Commissioner Gunn served as the Secretary. 18

Commissioner Lindstrom reminded the EDA members that it had been previously agreed that the 20
current appointed Acting Mayor would serve as the EDA President, and thus Commissioner 21
Meehlhause would continue to serve in that role for 2025. 22

Commissioner Clark stated she would be willing to serve as the Vice President. 24

Commissioner Lindstrom volunteered to serve as the Secretary. 26

Commissioner Smith stated she would be willing to serve as the Treasurer. 28

MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 25-EDA-376, 30
Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) 31
as discussed. 32
