1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
President Meehlhause called the meeting to order at 8:40 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: President Meehlhause, Commissioner Clark, Commissioner Gunn, Vice
President Lindstrom, Commissioner Smith and Executive Director Zikmund.
NOT PRESENT: None.
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION/SECOND: Lindstrom/Gunn. To Approve the January 13, 2025, Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
4. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Approve of Minutes: November 25, 2024.
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Lindstrom. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
5. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
A. Oath of Office – Kathryn Smith
City Administrator Zikmund administered the Oath of Office to newly elected Council Member
Kathryn Smith.
B. Oath of Office – Zach Lindstrom
City Administrator Zikmund administered the Oath of Office for Mayor Zach Lindstrom.

C. Oath of Office – Gary Meehlhause
City Administrator Zikmund administered the Oath of Office for Council Member Gary
Meehlhause.
6. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
7. EDA BUSINESS
A. EDA Resolution 25-EDA-376, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds
View Economic Development Authority (EDA).
Executive Director Zikmund requested the EDA elect and appoint officers to the EDA for 2025,
the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
President Meehlhause reviewed the appointments from 2024, noting he served as President,
Commissioner Lindstrom served as Vice President, Commissioner Cermak served as the
Treasurer, and Commissioner Gunn served as the Secretary.
Commissioner Lindstrom reminded the EDA members that it had been previously agreed that the
current appointed Acting Mayor would serve as the EDA President, and thus Commissioner
Meehlhause would continue to serve in that role for 2025.
Commissioner Clark stated she would be willing to serve as the Vice President.
Commissioner Lindstrom volunteered to serve as the Secretary.
Commissioner Smith stated she would be willing to serve as the Treasurer.
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 25-EDA-376,
Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA)
as discussed.
Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
8. REPORTS
None.
9. NEXT EDA MEETING: Monday, January 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
