APPROVING THE HIRE OF JEREMIAH ANDERSON TO THE HOUSING/CODE
ENFORCEMENT INSPECTOR POSITION
WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View posted for a Housing/Code Enforcement
Inspector; and
WHEREAS, Jeremiah Anderson's work ethic, attitude, job skills, and 30 years of
Code Enforcement experience exceed expectations for the position; and
WHEREAS, the hiring procedures consisted of an oral interview and pre-
employment drug test; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson will begin employment as a Grade 6, Step 9 of the 2025
pay scale; and

and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson will begin employment on or around February 24, 2025;
WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson will be subject to a 6-month probationary period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the hire of Jeremiah Anderson to the Housing/Code Enforcement
Inspector position within the Community Development Department, at Grade 6, Step 9 of
the pay plan (currently $43.21/hour); a 6-month probationary period; vacation
accumulating at the rate of 25 days per year; with employment to commence on or around
February 24, 2025.
