CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE COST PROPOSAL FOR THE GRANITE FEATURE
PIECES FOR THE TRIBUTE PARK
WHEREAS, in 2022 the City Council requested that Staff investigate installing a
possible Veterans Memorial Park; and
WHEREAS, Staff informed the contractor, Create a Legacy, that Council
approved Concept 5 of the Tribute Park Plans and that a soft opening day was set for
September 13, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor indicated the granite for the features is 4 months out
and needs to be order now to be received, engraved and be set in place to meet the
date of September 13, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Staff received the cost proposal from Create a Legacy of $65,765.00
for the granite features of the Tribute Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Approves the cost proposal for the granite features from Create a Legacy of
Richmond, MN at cost of $65,765.00.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby
authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions
necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
