RESOLUTION 10063 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY FOR THE 2024/2025 <br />MOUNDS VIEW BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, COUNTY STATE AID PROJECT <br />062-610-006, MUNICIPAL STATE AID PROJECT 146-020-014 <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County replacing the traffic signals on Mounds View Boulevard and <br />the following cross streets, County Road H, Woodale Drive, County Road H2, Edgewood Drive, <br />County Road I, Silver Lake Road and Red Oak Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is required to cost share for the signal lights at <br />Woodale Drive, County Road H2, Edgewood Drive, and Red Oak Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has estimated the City's cost portion of the project to be <br />$1,051,323.01 and is requiring the City of Mounds View to enter into a cooperative agreement <br />regarding the improvement project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement and does not have any major <br />concerns with the agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends the City Council approve the Resolution for the for the <br />Cooperative Agreement with Ramsey County for the 2024/2025 Mounds View Boulevard <br />Improvement Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View approves the Cooperative Agreement with <br />Ramsey County for the 2024/2025 Mounds View Boulevard Improvement Project. <br />2. The Council approves the Cost share amount of $1,051,323.01. <br />3. Funding will be from the Street Improvement Fund, 485-4470-7050. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />5. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and <br />directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order <br />to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 24th day of February, 2025 <br />ATTEST; <br />agdstrom, Mayor <br />(Seal) Nyl ikmunity Administrator <br />
