I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Administrator of the City of
Mounds View, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and
complete copy thereof, insofar as the same relates to:
CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 10061 ENTITLED, "RESOLUTION
OF APPRECIATION TO THE MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR THEIR DEDICATED SERVICE".

STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THE MOUNDS VIEW
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR THEIR DEDICATED SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Commission (EDC) was established in 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has served as an advisory commission to the Economic Development Authority ou
matters relating to fostering a positive economic climate, encouraging economic development, and enhancing the tax base of
the city; and
WHEREAS, the Commission leas made recommendations to the Economic Development Authority regarding
retention and expansion of existing businesses, attraction of desirable new businesses, redevelopment and rehabilitation
opportunities and other appropriate economic development strategies; and
WHEREAS, because of reduced economic development activity as Mounds View is nearly fully developed and the
fact that the EDC has accomplished most of the priority items over the years, the City Council has approved to dissolve the
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View would like to acknowledge the members serving on die Commission at the
time of its dissolvement; and
WHEREAS, these members have served on the Economic Development Commission with heartfelt dedication and
cntliusiasm; aid
WHEREAS, these members have shown a sincere interest in the welfare of the citizens of Mounds View during their
tenure on the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, oil belialf of' Staff and the residents of the City of
Mounds View, expresses its sincere appreciation to the members of the Economic Development Commission for their
