STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR
SHELLY ROSENE, 2809 COUNTY ROAD H2
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and
controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single
Family Residential; and
WHEREAS, Shelly Rosene has submitted an application, with an approved site
plan, and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 2809
County Road H2; and
WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set
forth in Chapter 90.005; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be
considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held March 10,
2025.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Shelly Rosene, 2809 County Road H2,
for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the
City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and
shall be renewed annually.
