RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TREE DONATION FROM PROJECT ARDAN
IN CELEBRATION OF ARBOR DAY 2025
WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 allows any city to accept donations of real property
and to maintain such property for the benefit of its citizen, however, it must be done by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received a donation of two trees from
the organization, Project Ardan; and
WHEREAS, the donated trees have a monetary value of $93.00; and
WHEREAS, one of the trees is an Accolade Elm which is a hybrid elm resistant to
Dutch Elm Disease and the other tree is an Exclamation! London Planetree, which is a
hybrid cross between an American Sycamore and an Old World Sycamore; and
WHEREAS, the donation was made by Project Ardan in celebration of Arbor Day
2025.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation from Project Ardan of two trees in
celebration of Arbor Day 2025.
Adopted this 14th day of April, 2025.
