RESOLUTION NO. 10094 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />ANA PARRA, 8478 LONG LAKE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Ana Parra has submitted an application, with an approved site plan, <br />and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 8478 Long <br />Lake Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set <br />forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held May 5, <br />2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a chicken/duck-keeping license for Ana Parra, 8478 Long Lake Road, for <br />no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br />City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and <br />shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted this 5th day of May, 202E <br />ATTEST <br />(Seal) <br />/Uj <br />Nyl Zik und, City Administrator <br />
