AUTHORIZING RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR PUBLIC WORKS WATER/UTILITY
MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION
WHEREAS, a vacancy will become available in the Public Works Water/Utility
Division effective June 20, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has a need to fill this full-time, non-
exempt position under the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit; and
WHEREAS, Staff would like to start the process of advertising for the Public Works
Maintenance Worker Water/Utility position immediately, both internally and externally;
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Maintenance Worker position is a Grade 5 with the
following wages for 2025:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
authorizes Staff to advertise for the upcoming vacancy for the Position of Public Works
Maintenance Worker Water/Utility Subdivision.
