RESOLUTION NO. 10211 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION <br />SEASONAL POSITIONS AND APPROVE JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR REC ON <br />THE GO COORDINATOR AND ASSISTANT CAMP COORDINATOR <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 5546 requires seasonal positions be approved by the Mounds <br />View City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Council approved the City operating a Parks and Recreation Department in <br />2020; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting authorization to hire the following summer seasonal <br />positions with the below listed wages for 2026: <br />Position <br /># of Staff <br />New Hire <br />Wage <br />Returning <br />Staff Wage <br />Rec on the Go Coordinator <br />1 <br />$19.00 <br />$19.50 <br />Assistant Camp Coordinator <br />3 <br />$19.00 <br />$19.50 <br />Lead Counselor <br />5 <br />$17.14 <br />$17.66 <br />Assistant Counselor <br />Up to 9 <br />$16.07 <br />$16.59 <br />Youth Sports Official <br />3 <br />$17.14 <br />$17.66 <br />and <br />WHEREAS, job description have been created for the Rec on the Go Coordinator and the <br />Assistant Camp Coordinator positions, all other positions previously had job descriptions <br />approved; and <br />WHEREAS, all positions will be seasonal positions and available as internships, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />authorize the recruitment of 2026 Parks and Recreation seasonal positions with wages stated <br />above, and approves the job descriptions. <br />Adop d this 9th day of February, 2026. <br />indstrom, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
