AUTHORIZE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION
SEASONAL POSITIONS AND APPROVE JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR REC ON
THE GO COORDINATOR AND ASSISTANT CAMP COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, Resolution 5546 requires seasonal positions be approved by the Mounds
View City Council; and
WHEREAS, Council approved the City operating a Parks and Recreation Department in
2020; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting authorization to hire the following summer seasonal
positions with the below listed wages for 2026:

and
WHEREAS, job description have been created for the Rec on the Go Coordinator and the
Assistant Camp Coordinator positions, all other positions previously had job descriptions
approved; and
WHEREAS, all positions will be seasonal positions and available as internships,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
authorize the recruitment of 2026 Parks and Recreation seasonal positions with wages stated
above, and approves the job descriptions.
