Therefore a new design and revised plans for operations and funding sources <br /> will need to be considered. The Council has requested that the Community Center Task Force <br /> meet to review these new considerations. I requested that the meeting for the Community Center <br /> Task Force be held on the same date as the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting so that we <br /> can double up rather than commit two separate evenings to meetings. I hope that you are all able <br /> to attend the meeting on Thursday, August 28, 1997 at 6:30 p.m. in Conf. Rm. C. The Parks <br /> and Recreation Commission meeting agenda is a short one, so having back to back meetings <br /> should not be too late an evening. <br /> • If you are unable to attend the meeting please remember to call me at 717-4041. Please make <br /> every effort to attend as this is an important one. I have invited the City Council members to <br /> attend if they wish. Also in attendance will be Administrator Whiting, Economic Development <br /> Director Bennett and WAI Architect.
