CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING 1 YEAR CONTRACT WITH RAINBOW TREECARE FOR DISEASED
TREE CARE
WHEREAS, the City Council approved going out to bid for the Ash Tree injection
program during the May 7, 2018, City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to Rainbow Treecare at the June
28, 2021, Council Meeting, Resolution 9438; and
WHEREAS, as a joint partnership, twice yearly mailings are initiated by Rainbow
Treecare using the City's logo to the Mounds View property owners; and
WHEREAS, Council awarded a 1 year contract with Rainbow Treecare to help
support the diseased tree care program for Mounds View property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That a 1 year contract be awarded to Rainbow Treecare.
2. Rainbow Treecare will provide design, printing, and mailing of co -branded
flyers to Mounds View property owners.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated
by this resolution.
4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby
authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions
necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
