RESOLUTION NO. 10256 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH WOLD ARCHITECTS TO <br />ASSIST WITH THE PARK SYSTEM MASTER PLAN EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN <br />WHEREAS, City Council approved Resolution 10129 on July 14, 2025, to adopt the <br />Park System Master Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 10130 was approved to create an Advisory (sub) Committee <br />(GOAL PARKS) for the Parks System Master Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at the March 26, 2026, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />Meeting, the GOAL PARKS Committee provided their recommendations for funding of the Park <br />System Master Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 23, 2026, there was a joint City Council and Parks, Recreation and <br />Forestry Commission meeting, to discuss the funding recommendations for the Parks System <br />Master Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at the March 30, 2026, Work Session, Staff recommended that the City also <br />conduct a Park System Master Plan educational campaign; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 27, 2026, Resolution 10247 was approved by the Council, a <br />Professional Service Agreement with WSB for the Park System Master Plan Education <br />Campaign; and <br />WHEREAS, to assist with the Educational Campaign an Architectural firm is needed to <br />provide renderings of the proposed Community Center expansion/remodel and a new Park <br />Shelter Building at Silver View Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby approves a Professional Service Agreement with Wold <br />Architects and Engineers to assist with Park System Master Plan educational <br />campaign services. <br />2. Funding will be $15,000 from the Special Project Fund account, 480-4360-3030. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this <br />resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />The Mounds Vio� Vis'iwl <br />
