RESOLUTION NO. 10258 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR POLICE OFFICER RILEY SOLZ <br />WHEREAS, Police Officer Riley Solz resigned from the City of Mounds View effective <br />June 4, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View <br />and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, estimated unused <br />vacation of 141.38 hours will be deposited into the Retirement Health Savings Plan for Officer <br />Solz; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View <br />and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, estimated unused comp <br />time of 60.00 hours will be deposited into the Retirement Health Savings Plan for Officer Solz; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual and the Labor <br />Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br />(LELS) Local No. 204, 50% of accrued sick leave hours will be deposited into the Retirement <br />Health Savings Plan. Officer Solz has an estimated sick leave balance of 336.94 hours (50% _ <br />168.47 hours); and <br />WHEREAS, the rate of pay for Officer Solz upon resignation was $56.75 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />the estimated separation compensation to Officer Riley Solz consistent with the Labor <br />Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br />(LELS) Local No. 204, and the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />141.38 <br />$56.75 <br />$ 8,023.32 Into RHSP <br />Compensatory Hours <br />60.00 <br />$56.75 <br />$ 3,405.00 Into RHSP <br />50% Sick Leave <br />168.47 <br />$56.75 <br />$ 9,560.67 Into RHSP <br />Estimated Total Separation Compensation: <br />$20,988.99 Into RHSP <br />ATTEST: <br />(seal) <br />Adopted this 8th day of June, 2026. <br />h Lindstrom, Mayor <br />4w )"'� / <br />Nyl ik nd, City Administrator <br />
