I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Administrator of the City of
Mounds View, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same
is a full, true and complete copy thereof, insofar as the same relates to:

STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO GARY STEVENSON FOR 35 YEARS
OF SERVICE ON THE MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Gary Stevenson was first appointed to the Mounds View Planning
Commission and attended his inaugural meeting on September 4, 1991; and
WHEREAS, over the past thirty-five years, Gary Stevenson has demonstrated
exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the City of Mounds View through
his continued service on the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Gary Stevenson has contributed significantly to the long-term development,
land -use planning, and orderly growth of the community, providing thoughtful insight,
historical perspective, and sound judgment on countless applications, studies, and policy
discussions; and
WHEREAS, his service has exemplified the values of public stewardship, civic
responsibility, and community engagement, earning the respect and appreciation of City staff,
elected officials, and residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to formally recognize and commend Gary Stevenson
for his extraordinary tenure and lasting impact on the City of Mounds View.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council hereby
extends its sincere gratitude to Gary Stevenson for thirty-five years of distinguished service on
the Mounds View Planning Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council acknowledges his enduring
contributions to the community and expresses its appreciation for his commitment to
maintaining and improving the quality of life in Mounds View.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT this resolution be entered into the official record of
the City of Mounds View as a testament to Gary Stevenson's exemplary public service.
Adopted this 13th day of Qctober, 2026.
