CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING CRAIG BURLINGAME AS CANDIDATE FROM
RAMSEY COUNTY FOR UNKOWN UPCOMING VACANCY ON RICE CREEK
WATERSHED BOARD OF GOVENORS
WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District has a board of governors comprised of
five individuals who must reside within the district boundaries, and;
WHEREAS, per Minnesota Statute, Ramsey County has two of those governors, and;
WHEREAS, Watershed administrator Nick Tomczik notified all city
managers/administrators of a pending opening on the board — Commissioner Bradley
has announced he will not be seeking reappointment when his term expires next
January, and;
WHEREAS, Bradley's retirement creates a Ramsey County appointee opening, and;
WHEREAS, Watershed administrator Nick Tomcik advised managers/administrators
that the deadline to submit applications to Ramsey County was Sunday, September 13,
2026, and;
WHEREAS, long term resident Craig Burlingame has demonstrated interest in serving
on the board, spending time research and also attending several meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Mounds View that the Ramsey
County Board of Directors appoint Craig Burlingame as a Governor to the Rice Creek
Watershed District to represent one of the two seats on the Watershed District Board of
Governors.
