CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR THE 2027 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2027 Street Rehabilitation
Project to include, Moundsview Drive, Silver View Drive, County Road H2 and Edgewood
Drive (as outlined on the attached map); and
WHEREAS, this project will include pavement rehabilitation and possible
storm sewer, sidewalk and curb and gutter improvements; and
WHEREAS, this project is proposed to be assessed in accordance with Chapter
202 of the Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS. the City Council understands that in order to properly design the
streets a feasibility study must be completed; and
WHEREAS, Bolten and Menk has submitted an estimated cost to complete a
feasibility study for $6,500.00 with monies included in the 2026 budget Street Improvement
Fund, account 485-4470-7050.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City hereby approves the proposal from Bolten and Menk to complete a Feasibility
Study in accordance with Chapter 429, Code 202 for the 2027 Street Rehabilitation project
City Project 2026-C10, at a cost of $6,500.00.
2. Funding will be from the 2026 Adopted Budget, Street Improvement Fund, 485-4470-7050.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all
appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution.
4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and
directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in
order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
