AUTHORIZE A RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR THE GIS SPECIALIST POSITION
WHEREAS, the GIS Specialist position became vacant September 11, 2026; and
WHEREAS, staff are requesting the City Council authorize approval to recruit and
fill the GIS Specialist position; and
WHEREAS, the HR Committee supports recruitment of the position. The position
is Grade 6; and

WHEREAS, the position is full-time and benefit eligible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves the following:
• Authorize a Recruitment Process for the GIS Specialist position
• The position is full-time
• The position is benefit eligible
