CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVE AND REVIEW THE 60% PLANS AND AUTHORIZE MOVING FORWARD
WITH THE DESIGN FOR THE 2027 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT CITY
PROJECT 2026-C12
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2027 Street Rehabilitation
Project to include, Moundsview Drive, Silver View Drive, County Road H2 and Edgewood
Drive (as outlined on the attached map); and
WHEREAS, Moundsview Drive is approximately 2,546 feet in length and maintenance
has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and
WHEREAS, Silver View Drive is approximately 405 feet in length and maintenance
has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and
WHEREAS. County Road H2 is approximately 3,084 feet in length and maintenance
has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and
WHEREAS, Edgewood Drive is approximately 1,926 feet in length and maintenance
has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and
WHEREAS, Bolten and Menk has provided the City with a proposed 60% street
design for the 2027 Street Rehabilitation Project. (Design standards were approved by the
City Council on October 22, 2007, Res 7176 as recommended by the Street and Utility Task
Force.)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City hereby approves the 60% plans as submitted by Bolten and Menk
and further authorizes Bolten and Menk to continue in the design for the proposed
2027 Street Rehabilitations Project.
2. The City hereby approves assessing the businesses within the street project area
and further directs Staff to start the 429 process for accessing.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all
appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution.
4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and
directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in
order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
