Resolution 10-024: Calling a Hearin on n Proposed Assessment for 2010 Street and <br />Utility Improvements. Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, presenting. <br />Mr. Hubmer reviewed the proposed resolution setting an assessment hearing to be held on March <br />23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />10-024; Calling a Hearing on Proposed Assessment for 2010 Street and Utility Improvements. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />VIL REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />Assistant City Manager Moore -Sykes reported on the February 22, 2010 League of Minnesota <br />Cities Meeting regarding shared services. She stated it was interesting to see that cities are <br />working hard to share services and cut costs to their communities. The Falcon Heights City <br />Administrator was present and discussed how the City of St. Anthony provides law enforcement <br />services to the cities of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale, and how pleased they are with that <br />service. <br />Councilmember Roth: No report. <br />Councilmember Stille announced the recipients of the 2010 Service to Youth Awards honored at <br />the February 11, 2010 Northwest Youth and Family Services Banquet. He congratulated Roger <br />Braun for receiving the award. <br />Councilmember Jenson: No report. <br />Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the following events: <br />February 11, 2010 Mississippi Watershed Management Organization Third Generation <br />Plan Meeting. <br />February 12, 2010 Minnesota Environmental Initiative Working Group Meeting. The <br />Group is working towards more efficient reporting to state agencies. <br />February 16, 2010 Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. The luncheon included a <br />presentation about Village Fest. He encouraged individuals to contact Julianne Miller <br />regarding volunteering opportunities and requested staff to include information on <br />Village Fest in the upcoming City Newsletter. <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />
