City Manager Mornson indicated that <br />18 areas of potential cuts would be to police/fire fighter pensions and MSA funding. <br />19 <br />20 Councilmember Roth pointed out to the public that the City offers life insurance and provides <br />21 health insurance to city employees, but does not provide dental, short term, or long term <br />22 disability. He noted that while the City provides a pension, this is the same type of benefit as <br />23 what companies offer with 401k benefits. He clarified with Finance Director Larson that while <br />24 the 2011 Budget includes $100 for family coverage for health insurance, employees are <br />25 responsible for approximately $800 for family health insurance coverage. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Faust clarified that infrastructure is incorporated into street replacements in the portion of <br />28 the budget allocated to roads. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve Resolution 10- <br />31 086; Approving the 2011 Budget & Levy. <br />32 <br />33 Mayor Faust noted that the Council has stated its desire to hold the general levy at zero, and has <br />34 done so for the past three years. This cannot continue indefinitely, and they have also made a <br />35 commitment to infrastructure in the City. <br />36 <br />37 Councihnember Stille pointed out that salaried have also been held flat for the past two years. <br />38 <br />39 Motion carried unanimously. <br />40 <br />41 B. Resolution 10-087; Ratifying the 2011-2012 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony <br />42 and International Association of Firefighters, Local 3486, representing St. Anthony Fire <br />43 Department. <br />44 <br />45 City Manager Momson provided an overview of the proposed resolution ratifying the agreement <br />46 between the City of St. Anthony and International Association of Firefighters, Local 3486, <br />
