He stated that a copy of the Met <br />2 Council presentation was emailed to the City Council and includes information regarding <br />3 "MSP Thrive 2040" which looks at future demographics in the state and how to provide <br />4 transportation and jobs that will sustain the state into the future and distinguish the state <br />5 from other parts of the country. <br />6 <br />7 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />8 <br />9 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />10 are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />II <br />12 IX. He reminded residents of the live sustainability training workshop on Thursday, October <br />II t\ at Silverwood Park which is being held with the cities of Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, and <br />St. Anthony and encouraged all residents to attend the event. He stated that the Chamber of <br />Commerce will be hosting a candidate forum on Monday, October 15 th , at 6:30 p.m. with the <br />candidates for Hennepin and Ramsey County Commissioner and the candidates for Senate seat <br />41 and House seat 41 b. <br />City Manager Casey reminded residents of the Fire Department's Open House on Saturday, <br />October 13 th , from 1 :00-4:00 p.m. at the fire station. <br />X.
